The Best Lightweight Strollers

One question I see asked A LOT among moms is: which lightweight stroller is the best? And, like almost every baby item out there, the best one for you depends on a variety of factors including your budget and how you want to use it! I’ve done a TON of research on strollers throughout the past 4 years, so I decided to put it all in one list, organized first by budget and then by other features. I also asked moms in my Facebook group for their favorites and why they love them. Hopefully this list will be helpful to some other mamas overwhelmed by stroller options!!!

Unlimited Budget
  • Babyzen Yoyo — single push bar, option for ride on board
  • Bugaboo Ant — so new that it is currently available for pre-order!
Higher End $250+
  • Colugo — high weight limit, easy one hand fold, big canopy, light weight and be carried on board. It has a built in carrying strap, comes with the back pack to pack it up.
  • UppaBaby Minu — super easy fold/unfold, big basket for a small stroller, big canopy, pocket on back of stroller, nice comfy leather handlebar, and best customer service
  • UppaBaby GLuxe
  • Nuna Pepp
Mid-Range $100- $250
  • Zoe — this is the most frequently recommended stroller I see in this price range. Moms love it for its full recline, one hand fold, largest canopy on the market, and one hand push! It’s also only 10 lbs and has a belly bar, snack cup/water cup/mom cup holder.
  • Mountain Buggy Nano — small enough to fit in overhead
  • MacLaren — people usually recommend MacLaren for it’s quality and ease of use. I owned one once and it wasn’t my favorite because of the two handlebars.
  • Chico Bravo Mini Plus
  • GB Pockit — this one might be the “smallest of the small ones” It’s super-compact and moms love it for that!
  • City Tour or City Tour 2 — very very light weight, reclines, good canopy, folds small, bassinet option, car seat adapter
  • GB QBit Plus — one hand, compact fold, nice recline, adjustable footrest, doesn’t tip with a diaper bag on it even if the seat is empty, decent basket for a small stroller, good push for a compact, and fabric is removable and washes up beautifully.
Budget Options under $100
  • Baby Trend TriFold Mini — this is the lightweight stroller I have. I love the easy fold and comfortable one-hand push!
  • Summer Infant 3D Lite — storage basket is good size considering how small it folds, and it can recline
  • Summer Infant 3D Flip — it is small, lightweight, and can face forward or back with a double sun shade!
  • Summer Infant 3D Tote
  • Kolcraft — visor is extended. It has a basket underneath and is very light.
  • Urbini Reversi — large canopy, easy to recline with full recline and seat can face either direction. Super large basket underneath as well with zipper
  • Mon Bebe Cube — This was at one point the $40 stroller… I tried it out and think at that price or even it’s normal price of under $80, it’s perfect for travel and light use!
